The ophthalmological examination provides information about the patient&#8217;s vision and general state of health.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When should you see an ophthalmologist?<\/h2>\n\n<p>It is advisable to consult your ophthalmologist every year, especially :<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>People whose work is hard on the eyes (computers&#8230;);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>People with diabetes or high blood pressure;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>People with a family history of glaucoma.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Sometimes, certain tests must be performed in addition to the standard consultation.
